[AT A GLANCE]
The GambLGBTQ+ study is a heavy-hitting piece of research; it is the first extensive evidence base of gambling harms within the LGBTQ+ community in Great Britain. Supported by funding from GambleAware, the study involved a massive undertaking of national surveys, online diaries, and photovoice photography. The University had the data, but they needed to turn that raw information into a physical experience that people actually wanted to look at. That’s where we come in.
When the University of Brighton reached out, they were facing two classic “villains”:
Most printers want you to upload a file to a faceless portal and hope for the best; that isn’t how we work.
First, we picked up the phone. Then, we headed down to the Brighton seafront for a face-to-face brainstorm, because you cannot get the “fun factor” or real energy of a project over a grainy Zoom call.
What we produced:
We did not just “print files”; we project-managed the whole lot, ensuring the students and stakeholders had their backs covered while they focused on the research.
Despite the tight timeframe, we pulled the rabbit out of the hat. The exhibition launched on time, looking exactly as intended: striking, legitimate, and justified.
“Unlike other suppliers, they don’t irritate with sales gimmicks. When they say they’ve got your back, they mean it.” – Reflecting our core client ethos.
